Real Raw Hate

Reading Scott Ritter, Maureen Dowd on the Bush-Blair gulp 'we did it wrong' press moment I realize the tone for war and how the war and other issues are handled by the foot soldiers of war and domestic issues. The rules for engagement are set by the leaders themselves, and Bush may very well believe things would have been better if only he was less, gun ho. But I believe he believed this for the amount of time it took to maybe look believable. From the usual news list I found my way to some facts that might be worth a share, and only fair. I had countered many forwards talking of militant immigrants, using fear tactics, it would seem only reasonable for the targeted groups to defend themselves. Offering up some defense, this is way out of hand and it all smells so racist and vile. Frist is thumping the bible belt buckle, with fuel to feed the hate fire and so unconstitutional it just dumb to consider, makes one ashamed to call him our voice, not mine that is fur sur. For example below from the Southern Proverty Law Center, Frist and others even Bush signal it is ok to hate, discriminate, because the great white way will soon be law. They are saying 'Great White Way or no way', and calling all foot soldiers. Setting the mood.

Immigration fervor fuels racist extremism

May 17, 2006 - The raging national debate over immigration is stoking the fires of racist extremism across the country. Neo-Nazis and other white supremacists are ratcheting up the intensity of their bloodthirsty "race war" rhetoric, and violent hate crimes against Hispanics, regardless of their immigration status, appear to be on the rise.
"The immigration furor has been critical to the growth we've seen in hate groups over the last several years," said Mark Potok, director of the Southern Poverty Law Center's Intelligence Project, which recently reported a 33 percent growth in hate groups over a five-year period, from 602 in 2000 to 803 in 2005.
"Hate groups think they've found an issue with racial overtones and a real resonance with the American public, and they are exploiting it as effectively as they can," he said. "They're trying to generate a hostile social climate that fosters bigotry and violence towards all Hispanics, whether they're in the country illegally or not."

In recent alarming events:
On May 6, the National Knights of the Ku Klux Klan held an anti-immigration rally in Russellville, Alabama, that drew more than 300 Klansmen and Klan supporters, including members of the neo-Nazi hate group Aryan Nations. At the rally, robed Klansmen burned a 22-foot-high cross and yelled, "Let's get rid of the Mexicans!"
Also on May 6, when Hispanic families in Tucson gathered in a park to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, anti-immigration extremist Roy Warden arrived, strapped with a pistol, and led a demonstration. "Listen up, Mexican invaders," Warden said. "We will not permit you, the ignorant, the savage, the unwashed, to overrun us, as happened in Rome...Land must be paid for in blood. If any invader
tries to take this land from us we will wash this land and nurture our soil with oceans of their blood!" Warden later e-mailed a death threat to Isabel Garcia, a Tucson public defender who co-chairs the human rights group Derechos Humanos. The e-mail was titled, "Warden to Isabel Garcia: I will blow your freaking head off!"
On April 29 a neo-Nazi in East Hampton, New York, was arrested for threatening two Hispanic teenagers with a machete and chainsaw, holding the blade to the throat of one while threatening to kill them.
On April 22, a 17-year-old Hispanic high school football player was dragged from a suburban house party in Texas and savagely attacked by two white assailants, one of them a neo-Nazi skinhead, according to Harris County law enforcement officials. Police said the attackers, Keith Robert Turner, 17, and David Henry Tuck, 18, apparently were enraged because the victim tried to kiss a young Hispanic girl they believed to be Caucasian. After forcing the Hispanic youth into a backyard, Turner and Tuck burned his neck with cigarettes, stomped his head with steel-toed boots, slashed his chest with a knife, all while shouting racial slurs. They then stripped him naked and sodomized him with a patio umbrella pole. Tuck, the skinhead, kicked the pole repeatedly. "I don't mean just a little bit," said Harris County prosecutor Mike Trent. "He kicked it in and
shoved it so far in that he has caused major organ damage. It looks like they were really trying to kill him and torture him anyway they could." The victim remains in critical condition.
On April 3, a prominent anti-immigration leader in Arizona secretly contacted the nation's largest neo-Nazi organization to urge its leaders to launch a campaign of violence and harassment against
undocumented immigrants. Border Guardians founder Laine Lawless, who has been interviewed on CNN and Fox News, sent an e-mail to Mark Martin, commander of the Western Ohio unit of the National Socialist Movement. The e-mail was titled, "How to GET RID OF THEM." The e-mail detailed 11 suggestions for ways to terrorize immigrants. "Maybe some of your warriors for the race would be the kind of people willing to implement these ideas," Lawless wrote. Lawless' suggestions included: "Steal the money from any illegal walking into a bank or check cashing place," "Make every illegal alien feel the heat of being a person without status...I hear the rednecks in the South are beating up illegals as the textile mills have closed. Use your imagination," and "Discourage Spanish-speaking children from going to school. Be creative."
On March 27, New Jersey-based neo-Nazi radio host Hal Turner called for the mass murder of Hispanics and the assassination of U.S. senators who support guest worker programs. "All of you who think there's a peaceful solution to these invaders are wrong. We're going to have to start killing these people," Turner said. "I advocate using extreme violence against illegal aliens. Clean
your guns. Have plenty of ammunition. Find out where the largest gathering of illegal aliens will be near you. Go to the area well in advance, scope out several places to position yourself and then do what has to be done." Turner directed his listeners to a website that provides detailed instructions on constructing pipe bombs, ammonium nitrate "fertilizer bombs," car bombs, chlorine gas bombs, and other homemade explosive devices.

Some nuclear truths:

Violence Begets Violence
By Leslie Thatcher,
Fri May 26th, 2006 at 02:45:47 PM EDT :: French News
2005 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and International Agency for Atomic
Energy (IAEA) Director General Mohamed ElBaradei may have astonished John Hopkins University International Relations students yesterday when he - in effect - admitted that the NPT is a dead letter, and that the IAEA is involved in a (losing)
holding action on nuclear proliferation as long as nuclear states continue to pursue their present policies.
But that part of the NPT in which nuclear states promise to gradually eliminate their arsenals in exchange for non-nuclear states agreeing to stay that way has been honored more in the breach than in the execution. (Here, a map that attempts to identify the state of nuclear programs around the world.) And, as violence or the threat of violence
begets more violence, ElBaradei points out that nuclear armament or the threat
of nuclear armament incites further nuclear armament.
Instead of devoting our energy and money to developing bigger bombs and other nuclear technologies that poison the environment, what if we focused on developing technologies to clean up nuclear waste, or even find ways to use nuclear power without creating any waste at all? Mohamed ElBaradei - who is certainly in the best position to know - seems to suggest that we're going to need the first of those technologies anyway.

What I'm Listening to This Week

By JEFFREY ST. CLAIR

Hilton Ruiz: Enchantment (Arabesque) New York-born pianist Hilton Ruiz was a child prodigy, performing at Carnegie Hall in 1960 at the age of 8. Over the next decade, Ruiz apprenticed with Joe Newman and Freddie Hubbard, before forming a fruitful association with the iconic Rashaan Roland Kirk. After Kirk's death, Ruiz went on to lead his own bands, becoming one of the most gifted and innovative players of Latin and Cuban jazz. Earlier this week, Ruiz was mugged and severely beaten in the head as he left a bar on Bourbon Street. He now lies in a coma in a New Orleans hospital. The NO police, perhaps the worst crop in a nation of corrupt cops, have not launched an investigation into the near-fatal beating and initially reported that he had simply "fallen" on the sidewalk and smashed his skull. Like most musicians, Ruiz has only limited health insurance and his wife Aida is pleading for financial help in this time of crisis.

King James had his George so what's it to ya

The Truthout people sent us all a semi-explanation as to why on Monday we did not hear blasted from our squawk boxes, TV, radio, or read-e-O you call internet; that Karl Rove was indicted, arrested and charged with something, please. Instead he is speaking to a group that praises the liar, for being such an entertaining liar I suppose. After all it is all about blood and gore that soars in box office sales, people love action and boy has this administration given US the most action we have seen sense LBJ gained his seat. The nation builders are holding Japan as their look see it works model, Tice is using metaphors like Hiroshima and Nagasaki when referring to the NSA illegal activities, illegal anti-American activities I will add.
Intentions, they are like shots in the dark when your trying to guess someone else's intentions. Most times than not the true intentions are veiled from view, and the actions that miss-give these intentions are for the gotcha moment. Serves truth in the governmental duties, and all our personal lives we all know someone skilled in these ways. Just as we know very well power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. And under Rovian game rules, all is fair in love and war. Wondering about election problems, election problems and more problems. And we know Mexico has legalized to the point it isn't a jailable offense to be a drug user, dawned on me today, what if the national guard was sent or the decision made after the news of this alone with fears of loosing the cheap white labor in the states. The kind that works for the weekend, the kind that indulges them selves to a point of oblivion to forget the situation they are in from the no where job their 2000 vote got them. I know after the war started the liquor stores parking lots full from day shift close time till store close time. And to this day stay as busy as the grocery store next door. Common social reaction in times of stress, and no more stress could be put on a community, a state, a populous as a whole than to send the children to battle and die for lies. Greedy old oil bastards and their carpet baggers.
I fear something bad might come of the strike at the nuclear reprocessing plant near me, half the work force is on strike at NFS. Nuclear Fuel Services, if it is still online they are affiliated with Oak Ridge facilities near Knoxville.
I do know this plant is one of few that does what it does, I used to follow their squabbles with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and law suites by neighboring businesses because of flooding washing nuclear waste water, heavy water into the actual building. Settlements made out of court with gag orders. If you happened to drive from say Johnson City to Asheville you would see the train cars parked alone the railway beside the plant with containers, the ones waiting shipment to South Carolina a few years ago that upset the governor there so bad. The local machine shop that repaired the containers, and how close and tight the plant was in relation to homes and other businesses, just damn scary. I always wanted to buy me a jigger counter, but ...
Ok, no more why I can't sleep tonight. These guys go on strike there have been gun battles. Like most businesses, especially those related the related to the war games, I say games because of an analogy read tonight and the like danger that lies there, theocrats and 'Engaging With Battle Cry' Bush's own version of Jr. Nazi crusaders. After all it more fits my theme than does all this depressing 'Stupid Old Great White Way legal issue of the day, reminds me of a list of Republican sex offender crimes someone sent to me I need to check up on those somehow and if I do verify I will post.

"When Karl Rove emerged from the White House Monday morning to speak at the American Enterprise Institute, the most ominous moment came during the introduction. Christopher DeMuth, the president of the conservative think tank, went out of his way to praise Rove's 'equanimity' in the face of 'sharks in the water.' In Washington, when they are about to erect a statue in your honor, they praise your 'genius and vision.' When they are trying to decide whether to send a handwritten note in case of your indictment, they praise your 'calm and equanimity.' For Woody Allen, 90 percent of life is showing up. For Rove these days, it is 100 percent." [subscription or ad view required] (05/16/06)

NSA thwarts whistleblower
In These Times
by Leah A. Nelson

"Russell Tice has something to say, but there is no one he can talk to. He explained as much at a mid-February hearing before the House Government Reform Subcommittee on National Security, Emerging Threats and International Relations. Tice is a 20-year veteran of the United States intelligence network, having worked for Naval Intelligence, the Department of Defense and, most recently, the National Security Agency, where he held the position of intelligence analyst and capabilities officer. He has intimate knowledge of the innermost workings of the intelligence community, and wants to tell Congress about an NSA program that, he says, is unconstitutional and possibly criminal. 'What [the American people] know about is Hiroshima,' he says. 'What I’m going to tell you about is Nagasaki. I’m going to tell you about three Nagasakis.' He is gagged, however, by the non-disclosure agreement he signed before becoming privy to top-secret government activities." (05/15/06)

When I read this, it becomes clear how 'they' will spin this in it's finally.....
The laws that were broken, and the probable consequences
FindLaw
by Anita Ramasastry

"One company, Qwest, apparently did investigate the legal situation, however. And after it did so, it refused to comply with the NSA's requests. Qwest had two reasons for balking: It believed warrants (or at least court orders) were necessary to make such requests legal, and it was concerned about who would have access to the information, and how it might be used. Based on what we know now, it seems Qwest was entirely correct to refuse to comply. A federal statute specifically forbade it -- and the other companies -- from doing what the government asked. While this law restricts the companies -- not the government -- the government surely should not be secretly putting pressure on the companies to break the law." (05/15/06)

So our NSA program is faulted on ethics, not illegalities that warrant at the least an oversight commission, I guess ethically speaking a slap on the wrist that twist the arms of ATT, Bell South and the others that are criminals .... ok now, here we go another nauseous dizzy spinshisters gets bye, while we cry fowl, sour fowl at that. I am asking myself if it is ok now, what exactly is the difference between Bush and Nixon .... terrorized differences is what. We live in fear, some drown themselves in drink soon will be escaping reality taking all their $dollar bills south of the boarder$ .... you see it works out better that way, or the military option does keeps people in easier than out, shows their true fears.
Wonder with more to ponder way over yonder .....
Be forewarned, war photos un-censored view with care .... request made to post the photo's to this site, I just can't help but links with warnings are suitable with me and you too I am sure....

From AfterDowningStreet.org, 5/15/06:

This collection of photos is the most complete we are aware of. Many of them are being made public here for the first time. Many of them are extremely gruesome. These must not be censored, because this is what a war really looks like, and that is something citizens need to see in order to cast informed ballots and lobby our representatives for or against war.

Please copy all of these images onto your own website.

This first page is the worst. Some of these are posed war trophy photos.

Here are photos, uncensored, from Abu Ghraib.

Here are more torture photos from an unknown location.

Here are photos of the war taken between 2003 and 2005.

And these are early Iraq War photos.

Here are photos from Fallujah.

And, finally, a few assorted photos.

"All this has to make you wonder: what else are they hiding from us?"
OH .... I think King James was maybe GAY !!!! ... cause anyone else who thinks I 'believe this just yet' I am not sure, but I did read it and saved the link... somewhere, post later probably after I get coffee made, but dang look out if I find more truth than not. Fuel for me. and more to watch as this and more develops, works out, battles, the good fight.
Good morning btw
to late to milk the cows now and soon to feed the chickens in this longitude, five thirteen am before the repost with editing, seems odd.

25% of them voted for immediate pull out
550,000 Iraq war veterans
troop morale is dropping as fast as Bush's approval ratings
Deficit, budget cuts treated an already stalled and crippled VA budget to care for our soldiers.
Delays in benefits to those with disabilities proposed for up to two years .... cuts to lower the deficit all while they pass tax cuts for the most wealthy four percent of America...
"If we don't get intervention within the first five years, the veteran is set up for a lifetime of problems," says John Wilson, a psychology professor at Cleveland State University. In an Associated Press (AP) story from April 30.
The tragic death of Andres Raya, a 19-year-old US Marine, demonstrates this condition. The young man decided to commit suicide by inducing a gun battle with police officers in his hometown of Ceres, California, with the apparent motive of avoiding an impending return to duty in Iraq.

Now is the time to stand up and be counted. It is going to take a little more than pasting stickers of yellow ribbons that read "Support Our Troops" on the bumpers of your SUVs and cars. Are the patriotic citizens of the United States of America willing to support our troops? Because their "commander in chief" sure as hell is not going to.

Constant Surveillance: Who's a Target?
By Roberto Lovato
New America Media

I show the FBI memo to a friend, who asks, "If they are surveilling Roy, why wouldn't they surveil the rest of us?"
Like most people I do not care that someone might be listening to most of my phone conversations, personal matters I care. It is just simple, it is no other persons business what I say or whom I say it too, a privacy issue we all would feel better knowing, just knowing that is respected. It is just anti-everything-American not to be able to discuss personal private matters. But if your job is to get the low-down and dirty on your local or state or even federal government wrong doing, like a reporter and you do not have an assurance that you can freely investigate, coordinate objectives and meetings with said persons without being thwarted by the political 'party' in control of such an apparatus is down right low dog dirty, slimy dirty games that have halted freedom in its very tracks.
Wonder why 'they' are using the apparatus in this manor, when are journalist, reporters and investigators targets for terror investigations. It is all bullshit. Terror is Republican made and it is the flag they will carry on, with glee in their eyes every time someone cringes from fear of a terrorist on our sacred Christian national soil. Bullshit on top of Buffalo shit, because the terror card has proven to be the binding factor in the Grand Oil Party.
Wonder who is crazy now, yep I was crazy before when I told everyone someone is listening to you on the phone, watch what you say, did you listen, are you listening now?
vindication is so sweet, my sanity is restored
And... always every day I find something relating to the 'movement', the Christian kind and its skeptics and doubters. Although I do not watch the show, I like southpark, but the 'Simpsons joined the fray' and real scientist are excited about a cartoon. There is much more on the science blogs on the subject, much more. Some good conversation on the issues, the movement and it gets you moving on the subject. Intentions to gather links for to post for persons and organizations that fight the fights, the good fight. It is my life's fight for as long as I can remember I have had doubts, constant questions that just won't let my mind wrap around a creator, a god, or an afterlife. I do admit it would be nice for our souls, a cozy place with suitable temperate climate but 'where' exactly and the logistics in getting there are, well, unreal. So I stay real and true to myself cause in the end that is who really matters after all is said and done, isn't it.
Wonder why and who and very loudly so they do not mistake what you just said ... or just Wonder quietly to yourself, if Mad Cow is really Mad People. After all it took the tobacco torts to find that Yes Cancer is a virus, so it maybe it will be cattle barons who push this truth out, maybe, as a defense.

Excerpt: Kingdom Coming

Salon
by Michelle
Goldberg
Excerpt from Kingdom Coming: The Rise of Christian Nationalism by Michelle Goldberg:"Fascism isn't imminent in America. But its language and aesthetics are distressingly common among Christian nationalists. History professor Roger Griffin described the 'mobilizing vision' of fascist movements as 'the national community rising Phoenix-like after a period of encroaching decadence which all but destroyed it' (his italics). The Ten Commandments has become a potent symbol of this dreamed-for resurrection on the American right. ... housands of Americans nationwide have flocked to rallies at which military men don uniforms and pledge to seize the reins of power in America on behalf of Christianity." Battles to Win

Proposals on Same-Sex Unions Compete for Favor of Coloradans
Colorado is ground zero, for now, states to watch including Tennessee are Idaho, South Carolina, South Dakota, Virginia and Wisconsin.

Staging first conflicts in such a fortress of Christian Nationalist illustrates the strategic forethought involved on their part. See post on 'The Family', and you will see just how long these strategic plans have been in the works. You will see how far behind you are in this battle. How under your nose and sly, covert being dangerous at times 'they' can be. It is a conspiracy I tell you, a very large vast Right Wingnuts Conspiracy referred to as the 'The Great White Way'.

On Saturday, July 22, 2006, thousands of people will march with actor and activist Chad Allen to the entrance of Focus on the Family. Our message is simple, yet powerful: “Dr. Dobson – Learn from History. End Religion-Based Discrimination Against Our Families! When we arrive on Saturday night, we’ll surround Focus for a brief vigil and then enjoy an electrifying concert under the stars by Broadway Star Billy Porter. The Saturday night march, vigil and concert are free and open to everyone.

During the preceding week, July 17-21, pre-selected families from across America will participate in a 65 mile “relay style march from the steps of the Colorado State Capitol Building in Denver to the entrance of Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Each participating family will walk a 4 mile segment during the week until we are joined by thousands for the final 3 mile march, vigil and concert on Saturday. Many of the families who have committed to walk in the march are now profiled online and more are being added.

You can help Soulforce peacefully confront injustice by making a donation to sponsor the family or families of your choice. Use the link below to read about each family, see their family photo, and show your support by making a financial gift in their name. Sponsors can choose to have their names along with a personal message listed on the family's page. All funds raised will help Soulforce finance this nonviolent direct action and will help Americans connect the dots between Dobson’s false teachings and the ongoing assault on the civil liberties of LGBT people and same-gender families.

To see the current list of families marching in the Soulforce 1000 Watt March, go to www.soulforce.org/article/791.

Euro Vs Dollar Brings Sorrow

Mike Whitney
May 6, 2006

"Everybody knows the real reason for American belligerence is not the Iranian nuclear program, but the decision to launch an oil bourse where oil will be traded in euros instead of US dollars..The oil market will break the dominance of the dollar and lead to a decline of global American hegemony." Igor Panarin, Russian political scientist.

Overnight the story of Iran's proposed oil bourse has slipped into the mainstream press exposing the real reason behind Washington's hostility towards Tehran. Up to this point, analysts have brushed aside the importance of the upcoming oil-exchange as a "Leftist-Internet" conspiracy theory unworthy of further consideration. Now, the Associated Press has clarified the issue showing that an Iran oil bourse "could lead central bankers around the world to convert some of their dollar reserves into euros, possibly causing a decline in the dollar's value". ("Iran wants Oil Market in Euros", Globe and Mail)

Currently, the world is drowning in dollars, even a small movement could trigger a massive recession in the United States. There's nothing remotely "conspiratorial" about this. It is simply a matter of supply and demand. If the oil bourse creates less demand for the dollar, the value of the dollar will sink accordingly; pushing energy, housing, food and other prices higher.

Oil has been linked to the dollar since the 1970s when OPEC agreed to denominate it exclusively in dollars. This provided the US a virtual monopoly which has allowed it to run huge account deficits without fear of crippling interest rate hikes. As Bill O' Grady of A.G.Edwards said, "If OPEC decided they didn't want dollars anymore, it would be the end of American hegemony by signaling the end to the dollar as the sole reserve currency."

"If the dollar lost its status as the world's reserve currency, that would force the United States to fund it massive account deficit by running a trade surplus, which would increase inflationary pressures." (Associated Press)

There's no prospect of the US running a trade surplus anytime soon. Bush has savaged the manufacturing sector outsourcing over 3 million jobs and shutting down plants across the country. His short-sighted "free trade" policies and enormous tax cuts for the rich ensure that Americans will be left to face skyrocketing energy costs and a hyper-inflationary greenback. There's no way we can retool fast enough to "manufacture our way" out of the quagmire of red ink.

Currently, the national debt is a whopping $8.4 trillion with an equally harrowing $800 billion trade deficit. (7% of GDP) The ever-increasing demand for the greenback in the oil trade is the only thing that has kept the dollar from freefalling to earth. Even a small conversion to euros will erode the dollar's value and could precipitate a sell-off.

Presently, oil is sold exclusively on the London Petroleum Exchange and the New York Mercantile Exchange both owned by American investors. If the bourse opens, central banks around the world will reduce their stockpiles of dollars to maintain a portion of their currency in euros. This is the logical step for Europe which buys 70% of Iran's oil. It is also the reasonable choice for Russia which sells two-thirds of its oil to Europe but (amazingly) continues to denominate those transactions in dollars.

Washington has succeeded in maintaining its monopoly by propping up the many corrupt and repressive regimes in the Gulf States. The prudent choice for Saudi Arabia would be to move away from the debt-ridden dollar and enhance its earnings with the stronger euro. Regrettably, Uncle Sam has a gun to their head. They understand that such a transition would invite the same response that Saddam got 6 months after he converted to euros and was removed through "shock and awe".

Regardless, of the outcome, the profligate spending, budget-busting tax cuts, and the shocking increase in the money supply (the Fed has doubled the money supply in one decade) has the greenback headed for the dumpster. Already, China and Japan (who hold an accumulated $1.7 trillion in US securities and currency) are gradually moving away from the dollar towards the euro (although the Fed has blocked the public from knowing the extent of the damage by abandoning the M-3 publication of inflows) The European Central Bank (ECB) and Japan's central bank are frantically trying to conceal the probability of a dollar collapse by issuing carefully worded statements to allay public fears while they to prepare for an "orderly" retreat.

But, it won't be "orderly". The dollar has lost 5% against the euro since April and is quickly headed south. The Iran bourse could be the final jolt that pushes the greenback over the edge. This is the bitter lesson for those who choose to ignore economic fundamentals and build their house on sand. Paul Volcker anticipated this scenario in a speech last year when he said that account imbalances were as great as he had ever seen and predicted "a 75% chance of a dollar crash in the next 5 years".

Volcker is right, but economic advisor, Peter Grandich summarized it even better when he opined, "The only one who doesn't know the US dollar is dead is the US dollar."

Prepare the requiem.

A little Humiliation Normally Makes One Look Long and Hard in a Mirror

Colbert's brand played face on, should have some causy effecting the defect, we will see in time.
Found the transcript, it is a serious read, a very large serious dose of humiliation with target bearing face, well aimed monkey ears. Reaction assures target was successfully eniolated, secured, but reactionary negative fall out is expected.
Wonder
“By applying the talent and technology of America, this country can dramatically improve our environment, move beyond a petroleum-based economy, and make our dependence on Middle Eastern oil a thing of the past.
—State of the Union Address, George W. Bush, 2006

“Our excessive dependence on foreign oil is a clear and present danger to our Nation’s security. The need has never been more urgent. At long last, we must have a clear, comprehensive energy policy for the United States.

Dirty Dealing

US Senate passes $109B war-funds bill 04 May 2006 The U.S. Senate on Thursday passed a $108.9 billion bill to fund the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and 'hurricane recovery efforts,' ignoring a veto threat from President [sic] George W. Bush because it includes money for expensive projects he did not request.

Wonder if arm twisting from those Halibon thugs has gotten so much, and why a war funds bill first veto, even first veto threat. Could it be within some kind of preverted way, the game of tricks and betrayal, bait and switch on this rovian monopoly over all reason were busted wide open and the bubble has burst, but spewed all over the Bush administration, all over.

Posting or Postposting

I usually post the web way, but few times I have been rushed and posted using the e-mail route. Seems some negative flow from msn to a google site, nah I am just being over suspicious, well on third thought maybe not sense I read in the headlines that google has a launched a complaint about microsoft. The damn silly games we have to deal with. A good friend of mine has done away with internet, told me it has just kept her spirit weighted down so reading nothing but negative. She has not lost her fighting spirit because she goes out doors every day and uses the energy and time to adorn her own heaven, and it is heaven, and she has adorned it so the full (about) four acres with a creek, roaring creek. Good decision.

This also being the reason I may not be here soon, it is about time to put the tomatoes out :) Time still is so short some days I haven't time to read past the headlines, but I would feel out of touch if I didn't get at least that each day. Like my vita-knowing to find a cave to hide away in (already done that) or just let the day set the coarse and bide the time, it is what you do with your time that counts not what you say should be done.

Tomatoes, and Thyme go good with oregano, Basil and Garlic on most anything. Good for your prostrate.

BREAKING Jason Leopold: Fitzgerald to Seek Indictment of Rove
Despite vehement denials by his attorney who said this week that Karl Rove is neither a "target" nor in danger of being indicted in the CIA leak case, the special counsel leading the investigation has already written up charges against Rove, and a grand jury is expected to vote on whether to indict the Deputy White House Chief of Staff sometime next week, sources knowledgeable about the probe said Friday afternoon.

Somehow the white house has gotten a week delay on the indictments, humm.

VIDEO Dennis Banks: Sacred RunA Film by Rebecca MacNeice http://www.truthout.org/multimedia.htm Dennis Banks, co-founder of American Indian Movement, organized the first Sacred Run across the country 28 years ago. The run is a staggered event that covers the country by foot between February 11 and April 22, ending in Washington, DC, on Earth Day. This year's closing ceremony was held at the Lincoln Memorial. Along the way, the core group of runners was joined intermittently by other walkers and runners. Banks has always been accompanied by Buddhist monks from the Nipponzan Myohoji sect.

love provides the strength to read and not get frantic, fanatic or out of focus, yes it does. But who will provide an answer to the plum of Nuclear waste water migrating towards the Pacific Ocean from that Betchel plunder? I bet the Energy Department just loves the anti-war protest, all the department of Homeland Scrutiny, all the stuff making you feel bad, feel really bad about being American while they, "THEY" are letting the world become a nuclear waste land. Where you at J....B...el, and all the Nuclear activist have been carted off to torture camps, ran out the country under torment and fear, for a reason. SHHHHHushed up they have been. Links later tonight, I have polk to eat now while it is hot and oh so good, for me.
