Where be the bee?

The bees are not returning from foraging Plight of the Bumblebee
A very interesting and disturbing comprehensive analysis of CCD by bee researchers from Florida and Pennsylvania failed to pinpoint the cause, but did note that several live bees taken from nearly collapsed hives were massively infected with a number of viruses and fungi.

Colony Collapse Disorder

Spring has sprung, and despite the frantic efforts of scientists to uncover the secret to the disappearing bees, no one has raised their hand to give us a definitive cause, let alone a tentative solution. The CBS report above begins, and ends, with a ridiculous statement - but the report is semi-significant in that it’s one of the few references to Colony Collapse Disorder I’ve seen from the U.S. mainstream media.

The celsias.com article is very informative with follow-up and historical links about troubled questions like where are the bees?
